Re: Boat Trucking from Northeast Coast to Great Lakes

Check Hurricane Transport, they are in Ohio. They moved our Gulfstar 50 ketch. When you look at the boat get a height measurement that may be a deal killer for trucking. Especially if its a center...

As already...

Re: Sail condition question

Al is right in the area then. He has really competitive pricing and will come out to measure your boat.
Not affiliated with them just trying to send work to a place that gives great service (rare...

Re: Sail condition question

Looks like you may have had the outhaul pulled too tight and not enough halyard tension. I think you asked in another thread about a local sail loft. I've had good service from Doyle Detroit Al...

Re: What stops Americans cruising the world?

The "middle class" never sailed to Europe, we flew once but that is gone now also.

Re: Cruising the Michigan shore of Lake Michigan

Don't know what your draft is but Saugatuck is shallow. It would probably be easier to find a spot during the week. Plenty of room to anchor in Holland in several spots depending on wind direction.

You can down load the manual for free. It said to tap on the fuel line to remove air bubbles ( air lock ) .

Re: Masthead spinnaker bail, could this work?
