I get much more than 2 hours out of my nissan/tohatsu 3.5 at half throttle, however my boat is light...

these are all similar engines...I had an evinrude 3.3 with the exact same tank, head...

while jeffS POST is spot on manufacturing wise there are many times when being out there that boats can benefit with either stregthening rigging or adding...

a cheap fix is to switch or flip the copper washers around and retorque the banjo

just like my 36 j bolts you have nuts you can take off and or torque when the keel is on the ground

do not attempt to torque them in the water

well yeah it might seem alot but you will have to test your individual boat, stuff like what material is used, or if its braced by a seat and or what the transom is made out of and how its designed...

I compensate for the sun and heat effect of compressed air

so inflate and push with your hand...if you can push in 2 inches or so you are good

alterantely if you have any wrinkle or folds like...

the small older 2 stroke 2-3.5hp engines are very bulletproof and awesome performers and easy to maintain

tohatsu, nissans, evinrudes, suzukis, even mercs and such later on

there are mki mkii mk3...during those years both mast height and draft changed(this was very slight, I cant remeber though...I for sure know the rigs changed and mast height did)...

x2 jaramaz some of the designs are excellent some are quote frankly damn ugly

as with any steel boat you need to be able to inspect inside and out...if you cant it could be seconds or years or...
