On your boat there isn't space for a second sheave to run a second main halyard. Adding one is a lot more work.

You also need to splice something to the dyneema that will work in a cleat. ...

FYI, no intention at all to swim in Fairlee Creek. If we went into there, it would be a short stop for lunch only, and to look around a bit. I'm aware of its reputation as a powerboat place.
