Ear drying stuff doesn't help with the laval critters! but for microorganisms, for sure. I have a pair of docs'. alternatively cotton buds or go ghetto and wear a pair of nylons pulled to cover...

yup... diving it is. be sure to plug your ears... you don't want that crud floating into them. Friend of mine cleans the moorings on St. John (usvi) and got a juvenile lobster stuck in his ear...

Davits! with cerebral palsy, the 5 ft climb is near impossible. put a sling on the davit and winch me up, even works with scuba gear on.

I sprayed with diluted white vinegar and left them in the sun, then rinsed with fresh water, let them dry. That got the crud and major odors. Then to get the lingering smell and make the cushions...

I wouldn't worry too much about the hull number since its such an old boat. There were only around 130 hulls built, and yours is one of the earliest - Glander may not have been numbering at that...
