Go with the Micron CSC. It is expensive but stays effective once you haul it (most paints are only good for 30 days out of the water), and wears away slowly so that you do not get paint buildup on...

Yaesu (Vertex Standard) was purchased by Motorola a little while back, which is probably a good thing.

I own both Icom and Yaesu Radios and like each for what they do. I would say pick the one...
