Bad batteries or something else?

I had a Pearson 27 with the Universal and had intermittent starting problems as well. The starter would not engage and replacement of the starter, new starter button, new batteries would NOT solve...

Try the US Coast Guard Auxillary. You may find info for your area on their website. ( I am not sure of their address ) Usually, their classes are in the evenings.

Look for corrosion at the terminal connections and your ground. Also look at your power (battery) switch. There may be internal corrosion, or corrosion at the connections. A loose connection may...

Ice box drain tube

The drain tube on my Catalina''s ice box seems clogged. The drain connection is in a very difficult location to get to. I used a long wire to try to break up the clog, no luck. Any ideas?
