Re: What year does Beneteau start using a bridge?

A friend has an 18mth old B 50.5. He has had the bridge part replaced / significantly repaired 3 times by the dealer due to it breaking / cracking otherwise falling apart.

Nice concept, but heaps...

Our XP38 has outward opening...

Re: New Grand Soleil 43

Like Volvo's 20 years ago where they seemed to fire the designer just as they got to the rear doors so they stuck a box on the back for the trunk like the...

Re: Inflatable tender for 30' sailboat

My wife's arse got majorly wet this Christmas when we were cruising, "we need a dinghy with a hard floor that i can step on & that has an outboard that actually works" was her wording. She isn't much...

Re: Cruising Broken Bay / September School Holidays

Compared to Christmas / New Year there was almost no boats in the Refuge Bay area last week.

Re: Cruising Broken Bay / September School Holidays

The picture of the anchorage was not where we were cruising. It is a general area of moorings out the from of a yacht club and cafe. I was just tied up on their short term mooring while I went ashore...

Re: Cruising Broken Bay / September School Holidays

Re: Cruising Broken Bay / September School Holidays

I'd love to do the HCW race, unfortunately we optioned the deep keel on our boat so given we bounced over the bar in our X-37 several years ago I don't think Lake MacQ is on our agenda.

We have...

Re: Cruising Broken Bay / September School Holidays

The XP-38 at the Sydney show was ours.

The XC-42 is a nice boat, not as sorted for racing but for cruising a great yacht.

Re: Cruising Broken Bay / September School Holidays

Re: Single vs dual wheel boats. Educate me on pro and con!

We recently upgraded from a 37" with single wheel to a 38# with dual wheels.

There is a big difference in the beam of both yachts, from 3.48m to 3.7m so yes the dual wheels are necessary so you...

We have been using the product for many years now, typically we apply it 3 to 4 times per year depending on the amount of racing we have done and the amount of rain we have had.

Bow shot is of the...
