Not likely they cast them in iron. either way it's major to get them out and replace. But a boat that old pretty much needs to be done unless it's never been in the water

ANY thing that can go wrong will go wrong on an unattended boat. It's almost always the plug that heats up and burns...

Well there's a 2 C-30 at my club for sale one is a tall rig the other is a standard rig. no AC but they are going to go to hell in a handbasket if they sit much longer!

Have photo of the whole thing? 3 lams is not really difficult at all. I beleive you can find Doug fir like that in full service lumber yards It's pretty common wood.

Sunk = lots of rot. the timbers are soggy for sure (ribs) Just about any wooden boat can be restored of the money is there. Please post about her on the Wooden boat forum! I'm there same name.
