fuel on deck and the associated loading and unloading to and from the dinghy and taxi rides to and from the gas station in remote places is the #1 reason I have contemplated going electric propulsion...

OP your questions will be answered once you get out cruising...really even NOONSITE lacks up to date bureacracy tips for certain places...

you get info from those going where you just came from...

man I have seen some boats with rf mains...I also buddy cruised with a perry Islander 36 with a rf main and I had to slow down for that boat and I was 28 ft ketch...

that boat suffered...

thanks guys well see if we find a deal on image stabilised binocs however this isnt for use offshore or out to sea looking for reefs...

its more about checking out the scenery on a lake...no real...

yup thats is the consensus so far I have read into these

come to think about it I have no idea what my hand me downs are zoom wise

however they are very good at focusing...they have the lever...

I will give you 2 scenarios:

we cruised(coastal) and we used the engine a lot more
we cruised offshore and crossed oceans and used to anchor and leave the anchorage...everything else power wise...
