Another problem WM has is location. Kingston On they are in a mall no where near water.
Daytona they had a store you could dingy to from the anchorage, in middle of marina, now out airport 5 miles...

Unless on a very large boat, very uncomfortable place to dock, major wave action. Cheaper and more comfortable to stay x river at Libery Landing and take water taxi over.

Not personally, but been a fair number of boats cruise Newfoundland, and a few have been North of 60 around Baffin and Greenland. Recently was a sailor who did the NW passage.

Bow will normally fall off, no big deal its normal. Helps let you know when anxhor sets as it will pull back into the wind once you snub the rode.
