It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

Re: changing to folding props
I don't recall having any particular problems in reverse with our Martec, when we had it on the boat, except when it was greatly in need of reconditioning. Boat doesn't slow down or stop worth spit...

Y'know, FB, if it were just about anybody else, I'd tend to concur with you. But it's been my experience that Jeff is pretty damn level-headed, and, along with you and a few others I could name,...

The folding prop will certainly produce marginally less drag than the feathering prop. Whether that margin is worthwhile or not, I could not say. The big advantage to a folding prop over a...

Thanks, Jeff, for taking the time to write that detailed story. Based on your experience, I'm now thinking perhaps we should give our Martec another chance.

Re: Starboard and Port tacks?
Good question, Ron. I don't know the answer, for sure.
We had a similarly confused situation, yesterday. We were on a starboard tack and on a collision course with a boat on a port tack. We...

Wow, Jeff, I think that's the first negative review of a Gori prop I've ever seen.
Several dead-serious racers in our club use & swear by them. Many of them with pretty damn expensive boats. Alex...

Folding props? Engines? Multiple? You have more than one prop and engine? What kind of boat are we talking about?
If you're racing a folding prop is pretty much a necessity. They'll give you...

I prefer the Echo Charge's operation, but I'm concerned enough about Xantrex' customer service reputation that I'm considering a Blue Sea ACR, instead.
