New(to me) boat rigging question
The cal 39 I just bought is cutter rigged and has a genoa and staysail. The problem, at least I think, is that there is only one set of winches in the cockpit. How do I control my staysail sheets?

Sealing new windows
Could I use butyl tape to seal my through bolted windows? I like the idea of being able to take them out again if one ever breaks. (They are glass)
If not, what kind of caulk, silicone, adhesive...

Leaky chainplates
What product do I use for re-sealing my chainplates? I have searched the forums and have seen totally conflicting answers. Poly? 5200? Silicone?
