transporting a sailboat via container ship

i send my old boat from germnay to the us on its trailer ( 24 footer ) on top of the containers on a regular container ship... cost was 4500 bucks including insurance for 20 grand ... worked pretty...

I had good results with Airforce sails on my smaller boat. The new main was exceptional ....

on my newer ( used ) boat I got a whole slew of North Sails...

phrf numbers are a good "simple " way to compare boat performance.... however it shouldnt be the only decision maker.

Phrf numbers are also in direct relation to the people who race that...
