We had to "service" our starter that would click but not turn over. Sometimes a few LIGHT taps with a hammer on side of starter can knock some scale loose that can build up over periods of non use....

Slipping prop troubles

Update, prop is back on with new key on place. Worked flawlessly when my son took out for a sail around Charleston yesterday. He said it was nice to have positive control in and out of the slip again!

Does a Shore Power / Electrical Cord split Exist?

Also a good idea to inventory all your AC items and add up all their amp draws. That way if it exceeds 30 amps you know what not to run simultaneously.

Guessing either power for a tiller autopilot or a radio handset. Can you trace where the wiring goes back to? It would either go to the DC panel or your VHF radio.

It was awesome! We had a lot of work to do on the boat to make sure it was ship shape, so mostly sailed around Charleston this year. Next year, will take some longer excursions up and down the coast.
