We took our (new to us) Mac 26 out for the first time this past Saturday, on Lake Murray, SC. The day time temps were around 105, and mid 80's at night.
We motored for a few hours, then anchored...

It falls under the "alcohol and/or CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES" guides.
If you take a few xanax/vicodin/oxycodone and drive/boat/ect....LEO's can and do take you in for a blood test. I see it...

When I recently took the ASA 101 course (3 Sundays, IIRC), I had very limited experience with sailing. I could not repeatedly perform the MOB drill to perfection, and the instructor would not pass me...
