Thanks all!

Went to the boat armed with your advice. Pos start battery terminal loose so cleaned and tightened. Tightened a few other connections but in general others seemed solid.

Here in OZ there is a manufacturing date stamped on the tank. If the tank is older than ten years no one is allowed to refill it until it has been pressure tested and restamped... or replaced....

My 33' sloop has mid ship cleats. But for a simple dock or rafting up I prefer using the bow and stern cleats for the spring lines. Seem to hold the boat better IMHO.

1) My quadrant stop is "working" the deck each time the wheel goes to full lock and the quadrant hits the stop.
