New Dufour 34

Check out the Dehler 34. Narrower beam and more expensive but better built and more of a "sailors" boat. You get more "stuff" with the Dufour.
Priority Sail in the Chicago area sells Dehlers. ...

Waxing New Hull

Thanks for the input. I will definitely be waxing.

The boat is a Dehler 34. Fun, fast, and well built. Definitely a racer-cruiser, not a cruiser-racer, with enough sail controls to adjust trim...

Dehler 36 delivery

Congratulations, I just purchased a new Dehler 34 myself.
Dehler makes fine boats and though they are very well built and could easily do a trans-atlantic sail, including my 34, there are stowage...

Myself, I am installing some Bose 131 Marine speakers in the cockpit. They are waterproof and Practical Sailor gives them high marks.

Should sails be matched, i.e., jib and main of same company and product line? Or can sails be mixed?

Thanks

Annapolis

I sailed on a IP 380 in Maine this past summer and I loved it. The boat does need at least 10 knots of wind and is made for 15-20 knots where you can set the sails and the autopilot and feel like...

Dufour vs Dehler

I am looking at a Dehler 34 and a Dufour 34. Both are brand new with the Dufour not in production yet. Both are pretty similar. With no real information any opinions on either boat maker.
