There were no issues prior to removing the transducer for servicing, and no rust or corrosion is visible on the connections.

Bluetooth sounds good but iRegatta will not work with Bluetooth on an iPad. You must have wifi.

The technical specifications seem to indicate that the Garmin 18X LVC only accepts 4.0 - 5.5 VDC input. Can you confirm if this will work on a sailboat with 12 volt power?
