Re: Sailing downwind is much harder than sailing upwind.

Some just motor upwind because the tide is also going the wrong way and you can actually sail fast and really well and be going....backwards, for a few hours.

We just installed some paracord on the bow to keep the dogs on the boat when sailing ... Of course, with the life jackets they have a better chance of survival. Not going through the lines..floating...

I finally fixed it, rust corosion.
The shaft that comes out of the gear box was just pretty coroded.
Thank goodness for PB-Blaster.
I added a ground to the shaft, I think that this will help keep...

For the tether, you coud set up a dedicated line that runs from bow cleat to stern cleat, both sides...inside or outside of the shrouds.

YSE8 - Trouble with "gear selector"

It's not the handle, it's not the cable, it's in the motor.

I have a hard time getting it out of forward, stiff operation.
I haven't taken it appart yet, but what could it be?

Yes it has.
I have fuel coming to the high pressure pump.
I am wondering if when I took that pump off, I might have turned the spindle that is on top...
I will try to take the bloody thing off...

Bought a new one, took the old one out, connected the old one to the batery, nothing, took the new one, connected that to the batery and the darn thing squirted some kind of...

Ok, I changed the injector before winter.
I just changed the fuel filters, I have flow in all fuel lines.
Just took apart the fuel pump and cleaned it, put it all back together and I still don't...
