Re: BoatBound?

So far it all seems easy, until it comes time for them to supply a surveyor. My boat is just over 25 yrs old and the last survey was 3 years ago. According to their own rules someone should be...

Re: Maintaining an outboard

Re: Daytime anchor ball

A vessel under 12 meters is not required to display the "motor sail marker". I have yet to see anyone use one that is not required.

Heck, I don't recall seeing the black ball being displayed by...

Re: Inflatable Boat Airfloor Replacement with Plywood

Looks good. Keep us posted.

I'm on my second inflatable floor. Who would have thought my high priced Hypalon boat would have a PVC floor?

Defender.com sells some solid floors designed to...

Re: Tiller or Wheel for Solo?

Does not matter. A good autopilot will make all the difference in the world. Tiller pilots are much easier to install and much less expensive.

I like having a wheel but one gets much more...

Re: How big is too big for one man?

Purchase an sail the boat that suits you now. Sail, sail, sail. Grow with it.
By doing just that I learned that my sailing desires evolved as I grew. No one can tell you were it will take you.
No...

Re: violent rig vibration when sitting in the slip

Re: Surveyor in RI?

I would second Johnson Marine in Mystic. They go above and beyond.

Ken Johnson even helped/taught me how to winterize systems when I combined a fall haul out with a pre-purchase survey.

I'll...

What amazes me is that you are worried about cleaning it up to muddle fruit but no mention of cleaning it up before the sex toy act? :D

Shore power and lights

LED 12volt.

I'm considering adding one 12v fluorescent fixture over the galley as I like lots of light when I'm cooking.

Re: Best 30' Cruiser

The C&C 30MKI is a good compromise, fast for it's vintage, very easy to sail in a variety of conditions, very stiff. A fun boat.
No quarter berth = huge storage lazarettes.
Large V-berth.
