The bottom diagrams are of the Doug Peterson designed P40 introduced in 79

The repower was fall of last year, the pathfinder was completely seized up and all of it went to scrap.

My shaft also turned out to be 1 inch - put a FlexoFold 2 bladed 18x15x1 on it with the VolvoPenta D2-40 on re-power this year.

The mechanic who re-powered says that he thinks the shaft would be 1 and a 1/2 before he cleaned and polished it to put the new coupler on. Will have to see for sure when we pull the boat.

Originally had the big Pathfinder from VW

Now have the Volvo D2-40, smaller, lighter and more horsepower up to 3000 RMS

Shaft was not changed out, is still original.
