That was what I envisioned doing ... Altair's method skipping the messenger may be as easy and skip the messenger line step. Thanks. :cool:

Good idea, had not thought of that (and "see" and "whopping" twine threw me too ;) ) ... assume I should get a set of the big sewing needles to do this sewing?

I have little teak to deal with on Catalyst but I go with Epifanes Varnish on the tiller (6-7 coats), and Cetol light on the other (limited) woodwork.

Interesting ... in the 9 yrs. I've had Catalyst including some rough runs with steep chop I've never seen even a hint of "oilcanning" (hull flex).

The 303 is nice, a bit more tender than the 26...
