Re: Oil stained Sunbrella???

For those who have not used Go-jo (mechanics hand cleaner). First rub the Goop
on then rub it around. On sunbrella a brush might be good. Add a little water

Re: sail plan curiosity

An old man who has never sailed just had a WIERD idea. That sail looks like a big square lanteen. Think of it as a spiniker with a boom and yard attached to the mast only by lines.
Then when you...

Re: Little Maid of Kent (Atkins & Co) Plans

The maid is beautiful but there are many other schooners, wood, steel, aluminum, composit and strip planked that are more modern and still beautiful. Think of a Tyana 37
schooner rig. My weakness...

Re: tabernacle/deck stepped discussion pro & con

I think slowley. Neat Idea to think about. Stronger standing rigging required,
less deck stiffness, required for deck steeped. Think free standing mast. Without
keel and deck (very stiff) it...

Re: Partner shut off key on overnight run now engine won't run...

Re: Remove embedded carriage bolts, then my strut, on the water?

I have been pondering this. Perhaps the solution is a temporary fix. You have seen the strut bearings that are supported by a v to the hull. cut off the strut and through bolt the two straps of the v...
