i am planing an extended cruise from the great lakes to the med and beyound we sail a 33 CC and my wife is not likeing the prospect of spending that much time on this time of boat and wants a cat....

should i buy it
i am looking at buying a 1969 C&C 40 i would like to race and spend the odd weekend cruseing around ,it is in good shape,but is a boat that old worth it
