I bought my sailboat a year ago, and the lifelines were... well, just not "usable". So I just didn't use them, touch them, etc. And I've been doing just fine, doing everything in my power no to trust...

Almost forgot... If corrosion is a possibility, how hard is it to "paint" or apply a PTFE coating to the SS slides?

So here is the question, can stainless steel sail slides corrode the slide track of an aluminum mast?

I understand that SS can corrode aluminum, but in this case the slides will be touching or...
