you need the alligator rated paint then... or you can add fish oil. Makes the aligator clean the bottom for you ;P

I have heard about and seen cayenne pepper on boats. Old drunks swear by it. However the issues with old drunks is memory. Fresh paint is always great! you could put gypsy tears in it and for a while...

The issue was I hit the bottom and kept going to 1200'. I didnt think the soft silt would cause an issue.

Hmmm, well I guess the nice thing about the bottom of the keel is I can remove the separated parts, and do some fiberglass work. Even if it comes out looking like crap, no one will know :P

While cleaning the bottom of the keel today I noticed a few places on the bottom where the fiberglass is coming off the keel about 1'x1'. Behind all I can assume is the lead keel. Is this a big deal?...
