For the spider problem you can always let momma nature take care of them for you by getting either gecko's or the anole (push-up) lizards onboard ... I catch about half a dozen each year and let them...

They go thru the deck and have a backing plate on them ..... I am useing them on the shrouds for the main mast ....

Patching a dink can be a big pain in the posterior area, after some reseach online I came up with this to work with.
My problem was that the complete floor let loose on the dinghy, so I went online...

Lot of people make the mistake of hypalon and pvc in telling which is which. This you need to know when using the correct glue selection.
Best way to find out is go to the manufactures website...
