Re: Take Your Shoes Off in the Cabin

We have a no shoe policy unless extenuating circumstances exist. Even boat shoes worn to the boat would have tramped though the car park, and every car park has oil, the heat in Oz also melts tar and...

Re: Jeanneau SO439 & DS44 vs Beneteau Oceanis 45 vs Bavaria Vision 46

Re: behavior on other's boats

Re: Dock Etiquette While Working

Re: Do you have to be wealthy to own a sailing yacht?

You don't need to be wealthy but you do need choices. I feel the most affordable way to own a decent boat is to live on it. That would be a choice, giving up the convenience of being land based with...

Re: Soft Hull problem on prospect boat

I wouldn't worry about the deflection, it just means the stand is in the wrong place, it happens. For the money you plan to pay for this boat you really can't go wrong, use the crap out of it and if...

Re: Dumbest passage plan since the BOUNTY sailed straight into Sandy?

I have not chimed in since the start of this tread, as I am a firm believer in karma. when I left San Francisco in 2008, I left to get on the back of a south moving low. The weather did not play fair...
