Re: what might this be?

It looks like that power connection is in really good shape. I would keep that and get rid of the boat around it. I will help you by taking the throwaway boat off of your hands. Just let me know....

Re: Volvo Penta MD6b Cold Start System

I have an MD7A. I get the best cold engine starting results with the throttle wide open. Once it starts, bring the idle back to slow idle. Don't want to run a cold engine wide open. Before I...

Re: Buyer Beware

OK PIP, exactly what "experiences" did you have to make you say such things? You said you were going to share them, but I see nothing shared. We would rather have heard examples of how they were...

Anchor Mount Location

OK...another anchor question. I searched but didn't see one like it. So here goes.

My anchor is on a mount on the upper rail of the bow pulpit. See the photo below. When it is time to use...

Re: Cooling problem solved now what's wrong with my tach?

Could you possibly reverse the original fix (replaced sender, etc.) and see if the tach problem still exists? If not, your answer could be in the incompatible or defective replacement parts.

Re: "Frogsuit" waterproof floating smartphone case

You asked for comments. Here's one: Had I had a prototype of your floating and waterproof phone case on Saturday night while climbing back aboard my boat, I probably wouldn't have had to buy...

Re: Life ring or horse collar for the boat?

I have three, all attached with the proper length of retrieval line. The life ring and the horseshoe are easiest to throw and with a bit more accuracy, but depending on who I am actually throwing it...

Re: Things lost in the water

One time I lost one of those folding/collapsing metal-tube & cloth chair like things. I'm sure someone probably found it and it is now sitting on someone's sister's porch somewhere. :-)

Re: Getting new lines. Any standard color?
