I use one for my ipod and when watching movies on the laptop. Plugs into the headphone jack on both and transmits to the house speakers over the normal boat stereo....

Recommend that if you charge with main engine, put it in reverse. Just out of idle. Don't use much power, but let it pull on the mooring or anchor. The light work load is better then just "dieseling".

I lived on a mooring for 3 months while waiting to find a house. I stayed in a hotel for 3-4day here and there (work). The dink dock was 1 boat length away. I thought it was the best of both worlds....
