Re: Ericson 38, Morgarn 38 or what? Hmmmmm...
What does it mean to have "potted" the stanchions? That's a phrase I have not heard before. I'll take a look at the C&C Landfall again. I like the layout and I also prefer the Ericson 38-200 but the...

Re: Ericson 38, Morgarn 38 or what? Hmmmmm...

Re: Ericson 38, Morgarn 38 or what? Hmmmmm...
Thanks. I'll take a look at the groups site. As far as I can tell Ericson and Morgan are the only two models that fit my criteria. I looked at a boat, I believe it is British made, called a Sigma...

Irwins look like great liveaboards but I don't think they meet the offshore and sailing performance requirements. That's what my research shows anyway. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

I don't know? I have no idea how to do that, cut out the wood . What is it replaced with? More wood? How do you replace it? How is the filler that goes in it's place structurally attached to what is...

Lowering mast has gouged a hole in deck
Hello all, I have a 1985 U.S Yacht 25/Pearson 25 and the tang where the boom vang connects at the bottom of the mast has gouged a small hole in the deck aft of the mast after repeated mast lowerings....
