not really...storm tactis and wether to drogue or not is dependant on boat and the likes and dislikes of the skippers...not all boats handle well with a drogue deployed and not all boats fare better...

people often forget that the inga for example were derived from LIFEBOATS not from a traditional long full keel designs...

the big plus for these boats was that they always righted...so along...

I disagree and agree on many things said by those in the know here...in the end I always fall to the designers notes on said boat and then those with true experience...

that has been my experience too with a couple of cca era boats...

I like the motion in following waves, however they do exhibit some cases of extreme hobbyhorsing in certain conditions too...

hmmm not really...if used in saltwater a lot and not rinsed you often get salt crystals and a white powder that develops around all alloys and stuff...

the sand probably means the engine was...

Im a no tow guy with or wothout motor unless im in protected very protected waters where wind and or waves never get up high...

if it starts and has a nice pee of water your good to go

get some seafoam and run it your first tank fulls....

you need to test in in the water...as loads will show signs of issues more clearly...

this is why I suggested looking for older used tanks...the usually come with a hose, bulb and you are ready to go...:)

since you havent tested the engine btw...it will more than likely require...

how hard is a simple knob vent? no it has to have safety features you know just in case you lose your...
