It takes me about 35 minutes to unload, assemble, and launch my boat, assuming I don't screw it up somehow or break my foot pump. Another 30 to put it all back into and on top of the car.

Also, the article called it both a dinghy and a liferaft. I'm not sure if the video had more information (won't play for me), but a dinghy wouldn't be unusual.

My boat is much too small for those lights. I just run mine from a 12v power supply at home. You don't need any more resistors.

I've noticed the same sort of elevation gain when tracking myself on a similar app. I always figured that it was just wrong about the elevations, but I wonder if it could also be an error in the way...

I use MotionX GPS on my iPhone (there's an android version as well) to record tracks and give my speed while sailing. It might be more what you are looking for.
