Go buy some bean bags.There light,form to the space and your butt. You can move them anywhere cockpit fordeck... Cheep and vinyl covers are waterproof.

Re: Varnish brushes
I usually give the brush a quick cleaning and then seal it in plastic wrap and its good to the next day or two. I've found disposable sponge to work just as well as a bager brush and less work.

If its a small leak try Captain Tollys creakey crack leak stoper.Its a liquid type glue that flows into the crack and hardens with a few applactions. It stopped a lot of leaks on my Cheoy lee.

The construction of Hunters is far less quality...
The construction of Hunters is far less quality than J boats.Hunters are ok but I feel there built for comfort and not serious sailing. Just looking at the factory hardware you can see a difference....
