The guys at your local friendly prop shop work with bronze every day. I bet they could help you out with any bronze fabrication you might want. I'd prefer bronze in my bilge areas over stainless...

To convert to a 2 wire, remove the small circuit board on the back of the motor. Solder two wires to the tabs on the motor and you are done.
