If my older knowledge base is right.. catalytic heaters (ceramic) put out way less carbon monoxide. but they still make enough to kill you.

5/8" x 1.5" deep hole saw (starett) over the bolt without a drill bit, should be able to saw down through the nut. Other sizes available too. Just thinking here!

Most people only raise the boat up a couple inches while the keel stays put. The big issue is getting the nuts broke loose! (Ya might break "them" too) :eek:

Boat that old.... drop it! There is a way to use lag bolts in lead. Catalina owners have a kit available just for that. I'd still want to know how bad/good they are

Yikes! Very few homes or businesses have such systems!

10 amps elements = around 34,000 btu x 2

The reason larger boats are not towed behind personal vehicles is beam (width) and horsepower to move 8-10,000 lbs of weight.

Consider running lines aft! It's well worth the effort. Also, self tending headsail gear could be a life saver. A 2 speed winch could reduce the effort to raise the main, "stack pack" would also...

Assuming the outboard bracket mount has been selected by now; The outboard bracket is only as good as the transom that it will be bolted to.
