How long were the dolphins with you? My last sail of the season I had a pod of 6-7 dolphins with me for about 10-15 min, as I made the trip from Block Island to Fisher's Island...

BTW - the reason that it read low is that I believe that an air bubble would get trapped in the T fitting... Also, the T was not in the flow of water through the system.
My drill and tap fix...

Assuming that the problem is, in fact, the heat exchanger (which is copper/brass/bronze and stainless), and not the exhaust manifold (which is cast iron/steel), I would simply buy a new one...
