Batteries need to be toughened up, not coddled. Bringing them indoors makes them lose electrons ( I'm Positive) which renders them fat and lazy, like your neighbor's pampered dog or an errant...

I have a dive mask with prescription lenses, I think it's a really good thing to have aboard for any sailor who wears glasses...

But wearing it on deck is probably a bit overkill for most...
