If your battery was completely dead, and you are not putting a new load on it, a 100w panel in ideal conditions would get it back to 90% or more charge in 3-4 days.

Yikes. Well at least we will have a dry bilge after this. Love the string idea with PB blaster, I may crawl back there tomorrow and string up those bolts.

Ha, we hired a guy from Seabrook Shipyard in New Orleans. He used your method to gain access btb :-). He was not able to loosen any bolts in the steering quadrant. He will use an air compressed...

Dave, what size are the steering quadrant bolts? Are they carriage bolts? I think they were 14s but not sure and not sure the length.

Also it was Like 36 degrees both times I crawled back there. So I had two pairs of pants two shirts one thick hoodie two pairs of socks over shoes and a wool hat. I was Gumby(dammit)!

Ok. Crawled back into the quarter berth while underway. Brian was at the helm so I had to be careful where I put my hands,flashlights, and camera so not to get tangled up in the steering quadrant....
