There may be some moist areas in the deck core but usually less than most other brands. they did have a couple of years where they had a problem with gelcoat that blistered but I have never seen any...

My opinion of the CS 36T vs the Pearson 36-2;

The Pearson is a roomier boat down below. The main cabin of the Pearson seems huge, and the separate aft cabin is nice, but the drop down salon table...

CS 36T's are not without a few faults but having surveyed about thirty of them, I think they may be the best built production boat on the market.

Also two CS 36s... the so called 'Traditional' by Ray Wall, and the CS36 Merlin by Tony Castro. Both nice boats, the 36T has a stellar reputation and many have done offshore and extended cruises....

It's actually four choices as the 36-2 and the 365 are completely different boats. It's hard to beat a 365 for liveaboard. Nice layout, great tankage, nice galley and a stall shower. It was built...
