Re: another tank cleaning issue

Thanks Denise and Eric, I'm not planning on removing my engine and if that's necessary to remove the tank I'll try any other option. No one yet has commented on tank cleaning services. ? Also why...

Re: another tank cleaning issue

Ok, thanks to all. Here's the thing, I love my boat but I've shed too much blood and tears on it already, not going to go through tank removal unless absolutely necessary.

Thanks Hudson, you think this is better than just getting it cleaned, to hopefully last a few, five years? I will have to pay a pro to put one in in any case.

another tank cleaning issue

I've read probably all the way posts on the subject but still don't have clear solution (no pun intended). I have a 1971 Pearson 30 with a 1991Yanmar 2gm20f which probably has the old A-4 tank still...

Re: flushing/antifreezing 2gm20f

Thanks Chuckles and Jim, I actually ran it all summer in the Hudson river, mostly fresh water, so will pull through some water first maybe or just do the AF. Will plug the air intake and exhaust...

flushing/antifreezing 2gm20f

I have a 1991Yanmar 2gm20f on a 1971 Pearson and am trying to winterize the raw water part. Seloc manual worthless for this. I think I can fill a bucket with freshwater to flush, and then antifreeze...

Re: Low buck projects- Let's see 'em!

Nice table. I simply bought a folding table with a fake marble top that actually fits nicely in the cockpit and folds nicely into the locker.
Also had a "bimini top" made that goes over the boom, I...

Sorry also Capt La,
I went back to re-read your original post and saw you were talking about a Beneteau; I think it really didn't sync with me the first time I posted since I was just posting to...

Re: Re- introducing myself

Thanks Cap,
That's what I would have expected too. I have nothing against Beneteaus, and posted this because I was so surprised. Maybe it had 6 inches of barnacles, but doubt it since it was docked...

Re: Re- introducing myself

Sorry for few recent postings. I wanted to thank SN for my birthday message and to say I had the best sail ever on the Hudson on that day, yesterday. Best of all, I had an informal race against an...

Re: is this a boom vang?

Awesome! thanks Knut and Faster. I'll try to figure out how to use it maybe for something else. I may be using the boom for handling nets and lobster pot, so maybe an additional "handle" like this...

Re: Yanmar 2gm2f no start after fueling
