I wire brushed the ends after sawing prior to drilling. The Alum. Is a marine grade not annodized. I'll probably hit it with a few coats of "Rattle-Can" paint

The H-25 is a good sailboat. Complete w/trailer is great. If the trailer is a double axel and a drop axel it may be an original Helms mfg. they made them
Of 4"channel. Please let us know...

There are few parts of my 1975 Helms I haven't repaired replaced or improved. I admit I have been avoiding the standing rigging, here's why.

Mine is in excellent shape and and tunes well enough....
