It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

Cruising, voting & jury duty
Do any long-distance cruisers have any experience with jury duty? We'd like to register to vote, but that subjects us to jury duty. Do the courts expect me to drop everything & fly half way 'round...

I agree with Cam. I'm an experienced blue water sailor now, but I remember our first Gulf Stream crossings to the Bahamas too. Wait for the right weather, always know where the nearest safe harbor...

Shade Tree Awnings, a poor review
I just purchased a set of Shade Tree Awnings and I have to say, I'm disappointed in them. We are circumnavigators, not weekend sailors, so we have elevated requirements that the Shade Trees just...

Prop shaft runout tolerance
I recently aligned my tranny & prop shaft flanges & got it to within .0005. I used the proper engineering method and not just "time & patience", so I'm confident it's correct. I noticeed that my...

Thanks
