Fuel spraying out of a high pressure line doesn't need a spark...hitting a hot turbocharger is enough... won't explode but you get a really hot fire...

It is surprising what can be done...The first thing you may want to do is get it into a tub of fresh water...the least time in the air the better...after a good soak pull it out....then get it...

Glad that you found a gauge...An easy way to make a gauge is to Tee into the line at the bottom of your tank with a shut off valve and run a clear plastic line up to a place above your tank...open...

Again I'm with Classic on the lack of a ground to the panel as the place to start...A multi-meter is a must have item ... one lead to each side of each switch and breaker, meter set to test for...

Second what Classic suggests... Wrap the old engine wiring up neatly and leave in place...If you want to get fancy use a negative bus bar instead of the simple bolt...

In Canada there is a ten year rule...The tanks are stamped with a date of manufacture or valve replacement...No stamp no fill... Our insurance industry at work...Valve replacement is slightly cheaper...
