Good point. I know Island Packet is made right up in Tampa, Fl. But, I think it is better to have a cooler galley, and the peace of knowing she runs cooler.
Do you have the in-line 3 inch hose...

Sounds like a great idea. I will definitely do that! I put the thermostat in yesterday (which it probably never had one in it); and ran the motor for 10 min at 2300 rpm (no load), then cooled down...
