Re: Endeavour 42 Bow Thruster

It's what we do in Canada in the snowy, cold winter! We think of new jobs for the spring and new ways to spend money on the boat :)

Endeavour 42 Bow Thruster

Any Endeavour 42 owners out there ever install a bow thruster (tunnel type)? I have never seen one with a thruster so I am wondering if there is access to do so.

Re: Canadian Maritimes, winter 2015

I'm from Nfld and I agree it is a beautiful place to visit in the summer time. I also agree that it is too cold and wet for me in the winter:)

Re: Canadian Maritimes, winter 2015

Might start with Chester Yacht Club and Lunenburg yacht Club. I think they close for the winter but worth a shot. Both towns are very beautiful though Lunenburg Yacht Club is not in the town itself....

Re: Canadian Maritimes, winter 2015

No problem to get to Nfld from NS. From the east coast of Cape Breton it is an overnight to Nfld and then you can go clockwise or counter clockwise around the island. It is a big island so lots of...

hey Mike,
You may want to check out Armdale Yacht Club in Halifax. They have everything you need and while we don't get a lot of winter line on boards around here, I am pretty sure they have had a...

Re: Boom brake advice

Re: Boom brake advice

I has a Walder boom brake on my boat when I bought it. I took it off as it never seems to work correctly. Always jammed at the wrong time.

Just came out this week. It's been unusually warm for October up here in Nova Scotia but we know it is coming. Lots of winter projects on the list already.

I was boarded about 30 miles north of Cape Cod earlier this year. The boarding party gave clear direction (actually more like requests) and were very friendly and professional. We were on our way...

Re: Cradle for Endeavour 42

Thanks Denise. I was hoping to get the drawings so I could have it built before it comes out of the water for the winter.

Sounds like you may have made one or two before!

Re: Barient Winches

I am trying to find a parts breakdown for the Barient 21-30. Hutton-Arco doesn't have one on their site. I don't suppose anyone would have such a beast?
