i don't envy bridges, time, and tide with a 50+ ft mast and associated wavy things trying to clear....

on my boat, i can't seeing it mattering a whole lot...assuming your rig is tensioned properly and balanced, rudder, rudder post and wheel/tiller are also properly aligned, and of course your rudder...

as the boat comes along, people wanting to sail w/ you will increase. your friends help you pull the boat and deal w/ what i suspect is a pretty nasty bottom.i always gave those guys and girls first...
