couple of questions

we sail an older (73) Pearson 33 and love her. My family had a Pearson Vanguar when I was a teenagerm and while prettier, I think the Shaw designed P-33 is a better sailer.

Lake Norman, NC

I don''t sail at Lake Norman, but I have. We used to race Lightnings and Thistles there occasionally. There are many larger boats (30-40 ft) there, but don''t aske me why.

Just be careful. Probably you''ll have a struggle motoring out against waves, but you can surf back in. Watch out for the fishermen.

Head Problems

It might be tme to stop throwing good $ after bad. That $1800 + would have been a great start to a new diesel. $1800 is a huge chunk, but it won''t be the last.

1970-75 Pearson 33 or 1970 Columbia 36

Barnaby,
We sail a ''73 P-33. This is a boat that has been in my family many years. In fact we had ''66 Vanguard when I was a teenager (50 next month)

We think the P-33 is a great sailing boat....
