I've tested everything today.
The alternator is still alive !!!!!

It is charging batteries at 14,4 in absorption mode.
Hope it will do his work for few years now :-)

Changed the 6 diodes.
It seems the alternator is still alive.
Tomorrow I'll put it on again and will test it.

Many thanks.
There are no numbers on the diodes.
There is only "USA" and a letter "R". That's it.
I'd like to buy the complete set of 6 diodes (3 positive + 3 negative).

Anybody can help to find what kind of specs it has ??

I only know that it should be 200 V.

Bad news. It looks like one of the diode is gone.
I've asked for the spare diodes here in italy.
Is it possible that the price is euros 180 + shipment ????

I took it today to an electrical shop.
It looks like the continuity is ok.
The diods look ok.
The bearing needs to be changed.
There is on cable that connect the diods that looks broken (fired)....

I have an Amplepower 120A 12V alternator burned up.
It looks like it is not adjustable :-(
