The MMSI is send out via CH70 and the duration of that message lasts a couple of milliseconds.
But when a lot of boats are sending at the same time, you might get a colllision of the messages.

The screwdriver antenna is using a motor driven tuning mecanism.
Any motor outside will not work after 3 month.
